One Putt Connect

Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 4, 2026

GLD Labs LLC ("GLD Labs," "we," "us," or "our") makes mobile apps, including One Putt Connect, and related websites and online services (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Section 13 describes One Putt Connect in detail. If a section about a specific app is more specific than the general sections, the specific section applies to that app.

1. Information we collect

What we collect depends on the app and how you use it.

Account information

Content and activity in the app

Device and notification information

Support communications

AI feature inputs and outputs

We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, your photos, or your device's advertising identifier, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. What other players can see

In apps with leaderboards, rankings, friends or matches, your username and your results in those features are visible to other players. Choose a username you're happy for others to see. Your email address and sign-in details are never shown to other players. If you share a friend invite link, anyone who opens it sees your username.

4. Service providers we use

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Services, and only as much as they need. They may not use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights, safety and security of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (in which case this policy continues to apply to your information).

5. AI features

Some apps offer optional AI features. When you choose to use one, the information that feature needs is sent to our AI provider to produce the answer. We send only what the feature needs; we do not send your name, email address or username. AI answers can be incomplete or wrong, so please treat them as suggestions. If you don't want information sent to an AI provider, don't use the AI features; the rest of the app works without them.

6. Where information is stored

Information is stored on your device, in our cloud services linked to your account, or both. Our cloud services are run by Google in the United States. If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your account information and app data for as long as your account exists, so your progress, history and settings stay with you. When you delete your account, we delete it as described in Section 8. Limited records may remain for a short time in backups, and we keep records without your name where described below (for example, reports you made) or where the law requires.

8. Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account and data at any time:

When you delete your account, we delete your profile, username and app data, and the sign-in account itself. Where we need to keep a record, such as a report you made about another player, we keep it without your name.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls on our cloud services. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact admin@gldlabs.com and we will delete it.

11. Your choices and rights

You can:

Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Economic Area), you may have additional rights under local law. We will honour them, and we won't treat you differently for using them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date, and we'll tell you in the app if a change is significant.

13. One Putt Connect

This section describes the information One Putt Connect uses and why.

Signing in. You can sign in with Apple or Google, or play as a guest. Guests get an anonymous account, so their progress is saved in our cloud too.

What we store for your account

Invite links. You can share a link (or show it as a QR code) that lets a friend add you. Anyone who opens it sees your username and links to the app stores; tapping it in the app makes you friends. You can replace your link at any time, and the old one stops working. On Android, the code in the link is passed through Google Play when your friend installs the app, so it can add you once they've signed in.

Our website. oneputtconnect.com uses no cookies, analytics or advertising. It is hosted by Google Firebase, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect it.

Fair play and safety. You can report a username or block a player. A username reported by several players is reset automatically, and its owner is asked to choose a new one. Challenge and match results are checked on our servers to keep leaderboards fair.

AI Coach. The Coach is optional. When you ask the Coach about a putt, the putt's details (the slopes along the line, your aim and pace compared with a putt that drops, and where it finished) are sent to Anthropic to write the explanation. When you ask for an analysis of your putting, the details of your last 200 putts (lengths, breaks, slopes, results, and how far your read and pace were off) are sent instead. We do not send your name, email address or username. Answers may be stored so that asking the same question again doesn't call the AI a second time. You can switch the Coach off in your Profile.

Error reports. When something goes wrong in the app, it sends us a short error report so we can fix it: what failed (the error and where in the app's code), what you were doing (for example a daily challenge), the app version and your device model, linked to your account. Nothing else about you is included.

Deleting your data in One Putt Connect. In the app, open Profile → Delete account (guests: Profile → Delete my data). This deletes your profile and username, stats and putt history, friends and friend requests (in both directions), matches (for both players), blocks, challenge entries, leaderboard and ranking entries, notification settings and push tokens, AI Coach usage records, error reports, your invite link, and your sign-in account. Reports you made are kept without your name, and reports about you show your account as deleted. You can also email admin@gldlabs.com.
