Terms of Service

Effective date: October 13, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GLD Labs LLC's mobile apps, including One Putt Connect, and related websites and online services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

1. Who can use the Services

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission. You may use the Services only in line with these Terms and applicable law.

2. Your account

Some features need an account (Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, or a guest account). You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device and sign-in secure. Guest accounts are tied to your device; if you delete the app or lose the device without signing in, your guest progress may be lost.

3. Usernames and community rules

Other players can see your username, results and rankings. We don't tolerate objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree not to:

You can report a username or block a player at any time from leaderboards, rankings, friends and matches. A username reported by several players is reset automatically, and its owner must choose a new one. We may also remove usernames, scores or content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these rules, without notice.

4. Fair play

Challenges, leaderboards, rankings and matches must be played fairly. You agree not to cheat, including by using modified apps, automation or bots, exploiting bugs, sharing accounts, or interfering with how results are checked. We check results on our servers and may remove scores, reset rankings, and suspend or close accounts for cheating. Rankings, points and results have no cash value.

You keep ownership of the content you submit (such as your username). You give us a limited licence to host, store, display and process it as needed to run, secure and improve the Services, including showing your username and results to other players. Our Privacy Policy (/privacy/) explains how we handle your information.

7. AI features

Some Services include optional AI features, such as the Coach in One Putt Connect, which use third-party AI providers to produce answers. AI answers can be incomplete, approximate or wrong. They are general guidance for practice and entertainment, not professional coaching, and you decide how to use them.

8. Not professional advice

The Services are for practice, training and entertainment. Results in the app depend on a simulation and may differ from real greens. Nothing in the Services is professional, medical, financial or legal advice.

9. Notifications

If you allow them, we send notifications for the features you choose (for example, your turn in a match or how you finished a challenge). You can turn them off at any time in the app or in your device settings.

10. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app or by emailing admin@gldlabs.com. Our Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what we keep.

11. Our intellectual property

The Services, including the software, design, text, graphics and branding, belong to GLD Labs or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. These Terms don't give you any ownership rights.

12. App stores

If you downloaded an app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store's terms also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for the apps or for support, and they have no obligation to maintain them. For apps downloaded from the App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

13. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue the Services or any feature at any time. We don't guarantee the Services will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLD LABS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE RELEVANT SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

16. Ending your use

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we need to in order to protect the Services, other players or our rights.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live requires otherwise.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date, and we'll tell you in the app if a change is significant. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept it.
